In order to access features of the configuration editor, you must use the Management Console. These utilities are not available through a web browser.

You can define multiple configurations for your Total Traffic Server, but only one configuration can be active at a time. Only the active configuration will process traffic and save statistics into the databases.

To create a new configuration use, the Configuration Wizard. To edit an existing configuration, click on it in the left pane; and the configuration will be displayed on the right pane.

In a configuration, each IP Object represents a processing step of traffic and the lines connecting the IP Objects indicate the direction of the flow of traffic.

• To edit an IP Object: right click on an IP Object to modify its properties, view active statistics, or change the view.
• To add a new IP Object or a comment: right click on a blank area of the configuration.
• To connect IP Objects: left click on a red traffic arrow and drag to a blue traffic arrow.
• To change a connecting line: right click on an existing line to modify or delete it.
