What does the Manage File Extension Sets Utility do?
The Manage File Extension Sets Utility is where you define File Extension Sets for use in TTC’s Content Filter Property Sets. A File Extension Set is a group of file extensions that the Content Filter will block when a user attempts to download content matching the set.

1. Click “Create a new set”.
2. Name the new File Extension Set in the field provided.
3. Select the File Extension Groups you’d like to include in the Set.
4. Click the “Save” link.

The following explains the major links and components of the Manage File Extensions Sets Utility:

• Create a new set - Click on this link to create a new File Extension Set.
• Cancel - Click the Cancel link to stop creating a new File Extension Set.
• Select a Set - Use this pulldown to view or modify an existing File Extension Set.
• Delete - Once you’ve selected a Set, you have the option to delete it. Click this link to delete a File Extension Set. Use this option with caution as deleting a File Extension Set referenced by a Content Filter Property Set may cause unexpected behavior.
• File Extension Groups - This section provides a list of all defined File Extension Groups for you to select for your File Extension Set.
• Save - Click the “Save” link to save your File Extension Set. Once you’ve saved the set, you can reference it within a Content Filter Property Set.
