The Global Allow List table is a list of IP Addresses, Domain names, 'Email Sender' IDs, 'Email recipient' IDs, and 'Email Subject' text values that have been individually identified to be indicators of acceptable email.
When an email item has it's header compared to this list of entries, ANY match will immediately flag this email as 'allowed' - pending the virus checking process - and NO further testing or blocking will be applied.
This list can be populated with entries through the 'Add Global Allow List Entry' utility or from the 'All Mail', and 'Spam Mail Only' reports.
Matches from this list will override ALL other blocking criteria - except virus signatures - including entries in the Global Block List file, RBL entries and Bayesian analysis.
The TOOLS panel includes a database SEARCH utility to assist with reviewing entries within this table. as well as related utilities to add email identifier records to this table.
You may enter and search upon an email header parameter Type name (sender's IP Address, sender's Domain, MailFrom address, MailTo address, Subject text or Notes text) or a full or partial parameter Value name to locate specific records or display a list of common entries from this table.
