The Personal Allow List is a system-wide list of email address pairs (senders and receivers), that is updated automatically when a user sends email to an email recipient outside of the local network.
Using this list, it is assumed that if a user is sending mail to or responding to mail from an external address, THAT address should be an acceptable source of inbound mail and not get blocked, unless it is virus infected.
This option is enabled on the General Properties page of the Spam Mail Blocker object. Management of this list is restricted to authorized administrators only, with the only option being to remove or delete an entry.
The TOOLS panel includes a database SEARCH utility to assist with reviewing entries within this table.
You may enter and search upon a full or partial Email address to locate specific records or display a list of similar entries from this table.
