Internet domains are categorized into the Content Database by the categorization engine, and are referenced by the Content Filter Object to control access to Internet websites. The categorizations are also used to manage spam mail traffic.

The Categorized Domains lets you review the contents of this portion of the content database, examine the categorization details of the records within and perform database maintenance actions as necessary.

• Click on an entry in the Domain Name column to open a web browser and connect to the associated domain. This will allow you to review the content of the related websites.
• Click on the Details link to open the Lightspeed Internet Archive and review the categorization details for the associated domain.
• Click on an Edit link to launch the 'Update Domain' dialog and change the category assignment for the associated domain. You can review the Knowledge Base article Categories Table Information for an explanation of the content database categories.
• Click on the Add to Favorites icon to place a direct link to this report on the Databases 'Favorites' list.

The Tools page includes a table-related database SEARCH utility and TOOLBOX utilities to assist with viewing and managing the contents of the table.

• Search - Enter the name or partial name of the Domain Name that you wish to review and/or edit. Wildcard characters ( * ) can be used to extend the search argument. CAUTION!! For this table, it is best to use more specific search arguments when searching the database. A lone 'wildcard' character is NOT allowed as a search argument with this table due to the large number of Domain entries in the database. Less specific search arguments can result in lengthy processing times.
• Add Domain - This function opens the Add Domain dialog where you can enter the necessary components to create a new domain entry in the table. (more Help)
