About the Categorized IP Addresses Table
IP Addresses (domain server machine addresses) are also listed within the Content Database,
so that content filtering policies and spam filtering tests can reference these entries to
block undesirable traffic and email.
This table-display utility is used to search for IP Address records in the database, so that you can verify or
modify their category assignments.
Use the SEARCH utility in the Support Sidebar to the right, and simply enter a complete IP address (i.e. 12.16.16.99),
or enter a "wildcard" SQL search string (i.e. 12.16.*.*), then click on the
Search button. All matching
database records will be displayed.
Within the resulting report you can click on an
IP Address link to open an Internet browser connection
to the IP Address and review its content. By clicking on an associated
Details link you can review the
entry's Lightspeed Archive information. An associated
Edit link will allow you to modify the category
assignment of the IP Address, if necessary.
A TOOLBOX utility, also in the Support Sidebar, will let you
Add new IP Address records into the
Content Database.
