Statistics Database - Tables Sizes & Retention Days
The SQL statistical database of the TTC Security Server consists of multiple tables that serve to record the network traffic activity and controlling actions reported by the individual IP Objects that are active within the traffic control configuration. Each data gathering Object is associated with a group of statistical tables that support the various traffic reports. The default retention period is generally set to 7 days for most of the tables, though some tables default to as high as 60 days. This accumulated data is used to generate the traffic reports as requested by network administrators or produced by scheduled functions such as daily traffic summary reports.
The Statistics Database - Tables Sizes & Retention Days provides the network administrator with a status report of this database, including current utilization and available storage space, as well as utilities to adjust the specified retention periods for the various statistical tables or to purge aged data.
Though the default retention values are sufficient for most networks, your actual administrative needs may require changes to adjust the availability of data for various reporting needs.
There are no SEARCH or TOOLBOX utilities associated with this table.
