A 'URL', is a sub-address within a domain, that needs to be categorized independently from its parent domain. URLs in the database will commonly be websites or web pages HOSTED on a parent domain as part of an Internet hosting service. URL entries are manually added to the database as necessary. These addresses are categorized into either 'Blocked' or 'Allowed' categories which are referenced by the Content Filtering Object for Internet access management.

The Categorized URLs lets you review the contents of the database where these unique Internet addresses are stored, examine the categorization details of each URL's parent domain and perform database maintenance actions as necessary.

• Click on an entry in the URL column to open a web browser window and connect to the associated website or web page. This will allow you to review the content of the websites.
• Click on the Details link to open the Lightspeed Internet Archive, to review the categorization details for the parent domain of the URL. URLs are NOT listed in the Internet Archive as their collective content serves to identify the nature of the parent domain. URLs listed in this table are categorized manually and reviewed separately from the domains in which they actually reside.
• Click on an Edit link to launch the 'Update URL' dialog where the category assignment for the associated URL can be changed. Review the Knowledge Base article 'Categories Table Information' for an explanation of the content database categories.
• Click on the Add to Favorites icon to place a direct link to this table on the Databases 'Favorites' list.

The Tools page includes a table-related database SEARCH utility and TOOLBOX utilities to assist with viewing and managing the contents of the table.

• Search - Enter the name or partial name of the URL that you wish to review and edit. Wildcard characters ( * ) can be used to extend the search argument. A lone 'wildcard' character will return all entries for this table.
• Add URL - This function opens the 'Add URL' dialog where you can enter the necessary components to create a new URL entry in the table. (more Help)
