Blocked for Review Report

What does this report tell me?
The Blocked for Review Report displays a list of blocked web sites where the user requests that you review the URL or domain to make sure Total Traffic Control has the site correctly categorized.

Why should I use this report?
Occasionally, Total Traffic Control and Lightspeed Systems may over-block web sites and categorize them in an adult or suspicious category. Use this report to view content that your users believe to be over-blocked. The report has links to allow you to change the categorization of a site quickly.

How do I read it?
TTC generates this report in Time order by default. You can speed your review by sorting by Client User to find legitimate requests from important users, or use the Search function to find a specific User, IP, URL or Computer. The following explains the report's components and link:

URL - This column shows the specific URL the user attempted to reach. Click on the URL to review the requested content.
Details - Click on the Details link to review Lightspeed’s Content Archive and display details about the categorization of the URL.
Logged Category - This column shows the category in which the blocked URL resided when the user made the review request
Current Category - This column shows the category in which the blocked URL now resides since the user made the review request.
Client User - This column shows the user’s name that made the review request.
Client IP - This column shows the IP address of the computer where the user made the review request.
Client Computer - This column shows the computer name on which the user made review request.
Email/Reason - This column shows the e-mail address of the user who made the review request, and the reason why the user wants the content reviewed. Depending on how you have TTC’s Content Filter Advanced Properties set, this column may be blank. Click on the email address link in this column to send a response to the user’s request.
Verify - This column helps you keep track of what needs reviewing. Only click on the Verify Checkmark link after you’ve checked the website in question and verified that it is in the correct category. Doing so clears the checkmark.
Time - This column shows the time when the user submitted the review request.
Source Name - This column tells you the last source of categorization.
Edit - Clicking on the Edit link opens a new window that allows you to modify what category a domain or URL resides.
