Instant Messaging Report

What does this report tell me?
The Instant Messaging Report provides a detailed list of Instant Message conversations occurring on your network.

Why should I use this report?
Use this report to audit your end-user's Instant Message conversations for possible inappropriate behavior.

How do I read it?
TTC generates this report in descending historical time and date order by default. To speed your review, you can sort by IP, User or Computer, or Search to find a specific User or Computer. The following explains the report's components and links:

IP Address - This column shows the local IP Address of the Computer participating in the conversation. Click on the IP Address link to view a set of detailed reports specific to that IP address.
User - This column shows the logged-in User name. Click on the User link to a view a set of detailed reports specific to that User.
Computer - This column shows the Computer participating in the conversation. Click on the Computer link to view a set of detailed reports specific to that Computer.
Message From - This column shows the alias of the person sending the Message Text.
Message To - This column shows the alias of the person receiving the Message Text.
Message Text - This column shows the instant message conversation transmitted.
Time - This column shows the time the participant sent the Message Text.

Optional Columns
If you have the Traffic Limiter or Traffic Priority objects enabled in your configuration, you may have one or both of the following columns in your report:

Limit - Click on the Limit link to create a Traffic Limiter rule for the specified IP/User/Computer.
Priority - Click on the Priority link to create a Traffic Priority rule for the specified IP/User/Computer.
